The company was established on March 24, 2017, as a dynamic multi-sectoral enterprise delivering exceptional services in export-import trade, logistics, and mineral resources trading. Registered under BRELA Certificate No. 134125, KarMax is dedicated to fostering sustainable global partnerships while contributing to Tanzania's economic growth.
KarMax is led by two accomplished directors with over 20 years of combined experience. Their extensive knowledge spans across the importation and exportation of various agricultural products, including maize, rice, edible oils from sunflowers, beans, and sugar. This expertise is complemented by a deep understanding of fishing activities, vessel operations, and project management in the marine sector.
Beyond agricultural products, we are also actively involved in the trading of precious and non-precious metals, including pure copper, copper concentrate, and copper scrap.

Executive Director
Chris (Christopher John)
With a career spanning more than two decades and four countries, Christopher John brings a wealth of global experience to his role as Executive Director. His expertise is rooted in managing the complete operations of multinational group companies, with a strong focus on financial management, system analysis, and general administration. Throughout his career, Christopher has held key leadership positions in diverse industries, including General Manager for a leading property development group in Kenya and Finance Manager for one of Tanzania's largest fish exporters. His core responsibilities have consistently included full financial control, management of legal and tax matters, and computerization of company-wide operations.

Karim Msoffe (Karim A. Msoffe)
Karim A. Msoffe is a dedicated professional with a solid foundation in mechanics and maritime operations. After completing his secondary education in Tanzania, he pursued Mechanical studies at Arusha Technical College for two years. Following his studies, Karim gained valuable hands-on experience working as a Seaman Level 3 for four years, serving as a Number 2 Assistant in Engine Room Maintenance/Oiler aboard the Kionmani vessel operating in Madagascar. Driven by a passion for community development, Karim founded his own youth organization, Youth Against Hunger and Poverty, established in 2011. In 2017, Karim founded KarMax Global Company Limited, a company now focused on exportation of agricultural and mineral products business.
